AMD
Ryzen 7 9700X
Eight modern cores without the 3D cache premium. In a build where the graphics card is doing the heavy lifting at 1440p or 4K, the gap to an X3D part shrinks to something most people never notice.
- Best for
- A balanced 1440p or 4K build where the budget belongs in the graphics card.
- Watch out
- At 1080p with a fast card, the X3D parts pull away. If you play competitive shooters at very high refresh, spend the extra.
